The World of Fine Wine recently announced the world’s best regional wine lists for 2024. Wine Bar George was awarded the Best Wine List in North America in the Short Wine List category and Best Wine by the Glass List with Coravin in North America. Wine lists from across the globe are judged according to a rigorous protocol by independent, international panels of leading professionals and celebrate the world’s very best wine lists.

Master Sommelier George Miliotes brings his renowned wine expertise to Disney Springs® at Walt Disney World Resort with his new venture, Wine Bar George. Wine Bar George is the only Master Sommelier-led wine bar in Florida.

George is no stranger to Walt Disney World® Resort – he was part of the opening team of the California Grill restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. He became one of 279 Master Sommeliers in the world by passing a series of rigorous examinations that require a candidate to identify wines by taste, aroma and sight. Miliotes continuously studies wine, identifying the most interesting wines through annual trips to wine-growing regions all over the world.
